First Look
Begemot Decals is an interesting decal company from Rostov-on-Don, Russia that offers a nice array of markings for Soviet-built aircraft. In this release, Begemot provides a super set of decals for the Su-2. Let's take a look:
This set is produced on two sheets of decals and provides 48 examples of the Su-2 from the early M-62-powered SZ-2 prototype and interim M-87B-powered examples through the late M-88B-powered examples in service through 1942. This set provides a wide range of bort number styles and camoflage schemes including the huge 'don't shoot me' red stars carried under the right wing of some of these aircraft. You can see that Begemot has provided an impessive cross section of aircraft from across the various early combat regions as well as flight test examples. This set is designed for the ICM 1/72 Su-2 kit.
