First Look
Begemot Decals is an interesting decal company from Rostov-on-Don, Russia that offers a nice array of markings for Russian-built aircraft. In this release, they've provided a comprehensive set of stenciling found on different variants of the MiG-29. This set compliments the colorful decal sets previously released for the MiG-29 and this set has stencils for the following variants:
- MiG-29 9.12 early production
- MiG-29 9.12 late production
- MiG-29 9.13
- MiG-29UB 9.51
As you can see in the image above, the instructions provide detailed decal placement instructions in four views (two shown here) for each variant. You can be certain that the Russian will be readable in this set unlike the gibberish stencils found in some kits and aftermarket sets.
