First Look
Begemot Decals is an interesting decal company from Rostov-on-Don, Russia that offers a nice array of markings for Soviet-built aircraft. In this release, Begemot releases a set of markings covering three Nieuport 11 'Bebe' fighters in Russian Air Force service during World War I. Let's take a look at the subjects covered:
- Nieuport 11, 22 KAO, Russian AF, as flown by A.G. Mikhailov
- Nieuport 11, 4 KAO, Russian AF
- Nieuport 11, 19 KAO/1 BAG, Russian AF, as flown by Commander of Combat Flying Group
With this set you're going to need three layers of decals in 12 positions on the airframe for the national markings and four layers for one of the fin flash options. I'm not sure why Begemot didn't simply print these as single-layer decals but you're going to be busy stacking these decals up on all of the positions around the airframe.

My sincere thanks to Begemot Decals for this review sample!
