First Look

Begemot Decals is an interesting decal company from Rostov-on-Don, Russia that offers a nice array of markings for Soviet and Russian aircraft. In this release, Begemot provides another comprehensive decal set, this time for the MiG-29SMT. Let's take a look:

As you can see in the images above, this decal set is provided on three sheets, and provides a options for other bort numbers and for other MiG-29SMTs not covered in this set. In addition to the distinctive markings, this set also provides a full airframe and weapons stencil set.

Note that Begemot released the MiG-29SMT set in 1/72 scale last year, and while 12 of the subjects are identical to that release, this 1/48 set also includes two examples that were deployed to Syria in 2017. This set is for the 1/48 scale Great Wall kit.
