First Look
Avia Decals is a new decal line associated with Begemot Decals from Russia and their first release covers the 1/144 scale Tu-134A airliner in Aeroflot and Kaliningrad Avia service. As with Begemot's decals, these are really nicely laid out and printed, and this set also includes a set of vinyl masks to help with one of the paint schemes.
The instructions cover three schemes:
- Tu-134A, 65655, Aeroflot, USSR, 1970-1974, 'Blue Bird'
- Tu-134A, 65769, Aeroflot, USSR, 1980, 'Official Olymic Carrier'
- Tu-134A-3, 65090, Kaliningrad Avia, Russia, 1993-2003
The decal sheet has another four aircraft which give you more flexilibility on your chosen subjects:
- Tu-134A, 65951, Aeroflot, USSR
- Tu-134A, 65024, Aeroflot, USSR
- Tu-134A, 65950, Aeroflot, Russia
- Tu-134A, 65845, Aeroflot, Russia
This set will work with the Zvezda kit though you can adapt them to the AZ Model or other Tu-134 kits in 1/144 scale.
