AOA Decals is back with a nice set of markings options for Trumpeter's 1/32 A-6 Intruder kits. This set provides a pair of A-6A examples during the Vietnam cruise and a pair of A-6E examples a few years later.
The aircraft provided in this decal set include:
- A-6A, 152946, VA-75, USS Saratoga, AC/500, 1972, CAG aircraft
- A-6A, 155622, VA-75, USS Saratoga, AC/501, 1972, Skipper's aircraft
- A-6E, 152587, VA-75, USS Saratoga, AC/500, 1975, CAG aircraft
- A-6E, 154135, VA-75, USS Saratoga, AC/502, 1976
This provides the interesting marking variations for the squadron during their Vietnam cruise as well as a few years later. There are sufficient markings for one example, but if you use the national markings in the kit, you can do at least two models from this set.
