AOA Decals is back with a nice set of markings options for Roden's recent 1/32 O-2 Skymaster kit. While I say 'options', I really mean that this set is essential as the stencils and markings in the kit's decals are a bit rough. This set provides sufficient stencils for two aircraft in addition to the 14 USAF and VNAF aircraft subjects.

Note 1: The VNAF example has the large left-side pilot's window which is not rendered in the kit.
Note 2: The O-2B PsyWar (BS Bomber) has unique details not included in the Roden kit and will have to be scratch-built or await a conversion.
Note 3: 'THE FAC' has appeared in at least one photo from Vietnam but no serial number is shown. If you have a better photo with serial numbers, please let me know!
Note 4: 'DON'T SHOOT' is rendered on the kit's decal sheet but not included here as there isn't any photographic evidence that a Vietnam aircraft had that atop its wing (though there is a warbird carrying these markings). If you have photos to the contrary, please share!
I had waited on building the O-2 kits (I bought two) because the kit's decals needed replacing, but now AOA Decals has come through this this great set printed by Cartograf. Like their O-1 Birddog set (another project awaiting its turn on my bench), this set provides some nice options and sharper printing to enhance your next O-2 project.
