First Look
You've probably seen the two nice decal sets released by Afterburner Decals for the Mitsubishi F-2 in JASDF service, one for the 6th Hikotai and the other the 21st Hikotai.
At present, there is only the Hasegawa kits of the F-2A and F-2B, which are essentially F-16C/D Block 40 Vipers that have been updated to the Agile Falcon configuration and produced by Mitsubishi in Japan.
This decal set will greatly enhance the Hasegawa kit with decals for two F-2 kits. There are two complete sets of forward and rear cockpits with nice optional displays to choose from for the Multi-Function Displays (MFDs). Mix and match or MFDs as desired or put in the blanks for a powered down aircraft. In addition, decals are provided for ejection seat shoulder harnesses and belts, the afterburner nozzle/fuselage ring, the interior of the nozzle pedals, and the carbon fiber spacers between the nozzle pedals. There are even placards for the landing gear struts!
This is a nice set and will add some nice fidelity to your next F-2A/B project.
