This really is a wonderful kit. It fits together extremely well. I only used filler on the nacelle and engineering hull seams. I used the factory light kit which comes with a rainbow of colored clear parts so the builder has many options to choose from when adding them to the kit. It's a large heavy kit but the engineering of it allows it to balance well on the supplied stand. The decals in my kit were very thin and crumpled easily until I overcoated them in a semi-matte clear, then they were fine. A talented novice could get nice results from this kit and it really comes alive when built by an experienced hobbyist.
