Billings Boats USA is importing a new line of tools that are designed for the scale modeler called Model Craft. This set contains a nice assortment of tools that are great for modelers as well as other purposes. The set contains:
- Wire cutters
- Pliers
- Two types of tweezers
- Craft knife w/spare blades
- Chisel knife w/spare blades
- Sanding block with several grits of sanding paper
- Flat file
The set is stored in a handy light aluminum case with convenient handle and a foam insert with cut-outs to hold each of the tools.
Whether you're setting up a young modeler with their own set of hobby tools or looking for a convenient way to have the right tools with you for modeling or repairs away from home, this is a nice set for your hobby. This set of tools which are ideal for the wooden ship modelers are also great for working with multimedia models and rigging of scale biplanes, working on model railroading projects, radio control models, etc. To show how versatile this set really is, I hand't even finished this review before my wife saw the set and declared that it would be perfect for taking stitches out of our dog who had surgery recently.
