Review
Flying Leathernecks Decals has released their latest photo reference CD, this providing a detailed look at the EA-6B Prowler. They've released other photo reference CDs including the AH-1W, UH-1N, V-22, CH-53E, CH-46E, and AV-8B in this series.
With this release, we have a collection of 600 images that go over a significant number of close-up details around the airframe and inside the cockpit. The cockpit shots show an aircraft getting updated avionics and most of the mission systems are removed from the aircraft. These shots given you a really nice look at the rack and frame structures that make up the center and side consoles as well as the instrument panel.
In addition to the up-close details around the aircraft, this disc has a very nice selection of images of line aircraft from VMAQ-1, VMAQ-2, VMAQ-3, and VMAQ-4. There are some great images in the set which are going to be essential for not only detailing your next Prowler, but also getting the painting, markings and stenciling all in place.
This is a nice selection of imagery that you won't find available in such clarity and size. This title is recommended!
You can purchase this reference or any of their other photo CDs directly from their website flyingleathernecksmodels.com.
My sincere thanks to Flying Leathernecks Decals for this review sample!
