First Look
The folks at White Ensign Models haven't been resting. They've had their line of Imperial Japanese Navy WW2 colours on the market for a little while, but we've been given a closer look.
It should be no surprise that the colors match nicely with the colour chips in the Snyder and Short color references for the Imperial Japanese Navy. The current colors in the range include:
- IJN01 - IJN Sasebo Gray
- IJN02 - IJN Kure Gray
- IJN03 - IJN Maizuru Gray
- IJN04 - IJN Yokosuka Gray
- IJN05 - IJN Type 1 Camouflage
- IJN06 - IJN Type 2 Camouflage
- IJN07 - IJN Type 21 Camouflage
- IJN08 - IJN Type 22 Camouflage
- IJN09 - IJN Deck Tan
- IJN10 - IJN Linoleum
These colors will be a great help in getting the look of your next IJN project to look right.
You can purchase any of these Colourcoats line directly from the White Ensign Models website (www.whiteensignmodels.com). My sincere thanks to John Snyder at White Ensign Models for these review samples.
