First Look
AK Interactive has been producing a very wide range of paints and weathering products over the last several years targeted to the armored fighting vehicle and figure modelers. In this release, we have their mix of lighting and shading colors for German field gray uniforms. This set provides two versions of the base color, the shade that represents direct light, the shade that represents shadow, and shades inbetween.
This set contains six 17ml bottles which include:
- AK3141 Field Gray Base
- AK3142 Field Gray Base 2
- AK3143 Field Gray Highlights
- AK3144 Field Gray Shadows
- AK3145 Field Gray Uniform
- AK3146 Field Gray Uniform Light
The formulation of this set is a thicker viscosity tailored for good coverage using a paint brush though it can be airbrushed as well. This gives you the flexibility to apply base coat, camouflage, etc., using your airbrush and then use the paints for touch-ups after installing photo-etched railings and other details.
