First Look
Eduard produces a wide variety of aftermarket detail sets and decals, as well as full kits. Another useful item in the Eduard line-up are their paint masks made from the very flexible and easy to use yellow tape. These masks are die-cut and ready to work on your project.
In this set, Eduard has produced a mask set tailored for the HobbyBoss 1/48 A-6E TRAM Intruder kit with masks for the canopies, windscreen, and wheel hubs. The yellow tape lays down nicely, even on complex surfaces without leaving adhesive residue behind like the early days of vinyl masks. The only thing you'll need is a liquid mask or other preferred masking method to augment this set as the canopy and windscreen set provides a hard line mask against the canopy frame, but you'll need to fill in the rest of the clear areas.
This set will definitely speed up your painting as well as provide crisp lines on your wheels, windscreen and canopy. Give them a try and you won't want to work without them again.
My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
