First Look
The first experience of combat employment of this gun in North Africa, 1941 by the British forces demonstrated total success of the new weapon. Owning a high firing rate of 15 rounds per minute the 6 pounder quite easily pierced the armor of any German tank. Even heavy tanks like the Tiger I which emerged in the second half of 1942 could not feel safe from its rounds.
The Zvezda kit a reboxing of the Peerless Max kit featuring the British 6 pounder anti-tank gun. The kit consists of 89 parts molded in grey styrene. The parts are molded well and flash is minimal. Some detail is a little soft but the kit will look good once built and painted. Construction looks to be very straight forward and no problems should be encountered. Construction is broken into 10 easy steps.
A very nice kit of a cool subject! Recommended!
My sincere thanks to DML for this review sample!
