First Look
According to the experts, the Iron Man Mark III suit was the first of the red and gold designs as depicted in the first Iron Man movie. This kit captures the look of that first design after escaping from captivity in his crude but effective Mark I suit.
Molded in red styrene, the kit is presented on four parts trees. The instructions are great for clear assembly steps as well as how to paint and finish this model. In fact, the only thing missing is a lighting system to bring the suit to life just like the movie suit as depicted in the box art. CultTVMan's Hobbyshop carries the lighting kits for the Iron Man figures if you're so inclined.
This is another outstanding kit from Moebius Models and whether you're a figure modeler, film buff, or wanting something different to build, this kit is just what you're looking for.
My sincere thanks to Moebius Models for this review sample!
