By Michael Benolkin

Date of Review December 2013 Manufacturer MiniArt
Subject German Tank Crew Scale 1/35
Kit Number 35167 Primary Media Styrene
Pros Great Panzer IV crew figure set Cons Nothing noted
Skill Level Intermediate MSRP (USD) $14.99

First Look

This MiniArt kit consists of 43 styrene parts molded in light gray. All of the parts are molded very well and feature crisp detail. There is no flash and seam lines are minimal.

German Tank Crew Kit

There are parts for six full figures, five crew members of a Panzer IV type (two standing out of the turret hatches, two seated through the side turret hatches, and a driver, plus a field commander figure with map case in a pose that would be giving orders to the tank commander.

Paint colors are called out on the back of the box and are provided for Vallejo, Testor, Tamiya, Humbrol, Revell, Mr. Color and Life Color.

This would be a great set to provide a great vignette or diorama setting atop your favorite Panzer IV with the field commander's Kubelwagen parked along side.

My sincere thanks to MRC for this review sample!
