First Look
Here is a pair of super-detailed kits in one box plus three nice figures! Add a display base and you've got a complete vignette or diorama in the making. This is MiniArt's nice US Motorcycle Repair Crew which features three soldiers servicing two Harley-Davidson WLA motorcycles.
This kit is molded in light gray styrene and presented on three parts trees, plus two small trees of clear parts and two frets of photo-etched details. And yes, those are photo-etched wheel spokes for both bikes! The kit provides bending jigs for the wheel spokes as well as a for several brackets/straps.
I've listed this kit with a recommended skill level of advanced given that these bikes are very detailed though in 1/35 scale, they are still very small, which translates to lots of really tiny parts!
The painting instructions provide paint reference numbers for Vallejo, Testors, Tamiya, Humbrol, Revell and Mr. Color.
This is another interesting release from MiniArt which will make for an interesting vignette right out of the box.
Thanks to MRC for the review sample.
