First Look
Several years ago, ICM released a nice set of figures representing Luftwaffe pilots and ground personnel dressed in cooler weather gear (leather jackets, heavy coveralls, etc.), which were designed to put life around your favorite 1/48 Messerschmitt or Focke Wulf subject. ICM has now followed this release up with a winter version and added more features as well. Let's take a look:
The set is molded in tan styrene and presented on one parts tree. The set includes five figures:
- One pilot figure that looks like Adolf Galland standing
- One pilot or maintenance officer standing
- One sentry standing
- One maintenance troop shouldering a small bomb
- One maintenance tropp standing and spray painting
In addition to the figures, the set also includes:
- Sentry booth
- Sentry gate
- Small bomb
- Compressed air tank on dolly
- Step ladder
- Fuel/oil drum
- Tool box
This set will bring a nice winter diorama or vignette to life and only needs a suitable Messerschmitt, Focke Wulf, Junkers, or Heinkel to make it work. If you're ready to take your modeling to the next level, this is just the set to get you there.
