First Look
Atlantis Model Company is a relatively new company that has come on the scene producing a combination of kits ranging from classics to new-tool subjects. In this release, we have a re-release of the original classic 1954 Lindberg saucer kit. Atlantis has done an interesting update.
The kit is molded in silver styrene and is a very simple project. It includes the saucer halves, the clear dome over the cockpit, engine thrusters, and a display stand. This kit also has the alien pilot's head as before, but Atlantis has molded this one in glow-in-the-dark styrene. One decal for the hull number (in whatever alien script) is also included.
This is a nice re-release model that will provide some fun and creative possibilities for the modeler looking for a fun weekend project.
My sincere thanks to Atlantis Model Company for this review sample!
