Scale Aircraft Conversions (SAC) produces an impressive array of white metal replacement landing gear for a variety of models. Some of these sets correct different issues that appeared in production kits, while others are simple common sense replacements to have stronger landing gear on your model.

This release is one of many landing gear sets available in 1/72 scale and is targeted for the Platz kit and the MRC reboxing of this same kit. This set is a drop-in replacement for the kit's landing gear, though cast in white metal to provide a stronger leg for your kit to stand upon. While the set was released for the RQ-4B Global Hawk kit, it will also work with the recently released kit of the RQ-4N BAMS variant operated by the US Navy.

Where many of the SAC landing gear sets can be used well after you finished your model, the nose ballast assembly needs to be installed in the initial build-up, so you'll need to use this set from the start of your project if you don't want to have your Global Hawk look awkward sitting on its tail.

You can obtain SAC landing gear from your favorite hobby retailer or online hobby shop. If your retailer can't get these for you and you can't this set at your favorite online retailer, then you can get quick service from Scale Aircraft Conversions directly.
