Pavla produces an interesting line of detail sets for a variety of subjects, each one designed to enhance a particular aspect of a given kit. In this set, Pavla offers another update to the Airfix 1/72 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX kit.
This set provides a complete replacement for the kit's flight control surfaces so you can pose them as you wish. This set includes replacement ailerons, rudder, elevators, and horizontal stabilizers. The rudder is the early version with the rounded top and narower chord, while the horizontal stabilizers and elevators also reflect the configuration of the early version as well.
This is a very nice detail set for the Airfix kits and will definitely add some eye-catching details to the stock models.
