Pavla produces an interesting line of detail sets for a variety of subjects, each one designed to enhance a particular aspect of a given kit. In this set, Pavla offers another update to the recently released Airfix 1/72 Spitfire PR.XIX kit.
This set provides some nice exterior detail enhancements to the Airfix kit including a new spinner and propeller blades, carburetor intake scoop, hollow-ended exhaust stubs for the Griffon engine, underwing radiators cannon bulges and covers, and two sets of main landing gear wheels - each with a different hub pattern to give you a choice of accurate details for the aircraft you're modeling.
This is a very nice detail set for the Airfix kit and will definitely add some eye-catching details to the stock kit.
