MAW-Decals has released another nice resin conversion, this time for the Hasegawa 1/48 F-14B/D Tomcat kit. This simple conversion replaces the exhaust nozzles and fairings and replicates the look of the protective covers placed over the exhaust nozzles of parked aircraft to keep the birds and other FOD opportunities out.
Molded in white resin, this pair of resin parts are designed to fit the Hasegawa kit and may work with other 1/48 scale GE-powered Tomcat kits - you're on your own to adapt this set for non-Hasegawa applications. What's more, this is a very reasonably-priced update at under $6 USD, so you easily 'park' your F-14B/D with ease.
