I was visiting my local hobby establishment and spied this set in the display case. One hundred (100!!) resin modern Israeli Defense Forces Jerry Cans cast in tan resin.
The casting on these fuel and water cans is amazing. These are the single handle type and there is no resin flash present, and these are cast five at a time!
A quick run of the math told me that this set costs a little less that 20 cents per container. With 100 containers in each set, I will have more than enough IDF Jerry Cans for the next few years (unless I do a truckload!). I purchased the set and brought them home.
Interestingly enough, I haven't run into Elefant products before. They are a hobby company out of the Czech Republic. But since I know where the model guru of the store gets his stock, a quick check of the internet confirms that this set and others in the line are available from VLS Productions (www.modelmecca.com).
For more information, you can also stop by the manufacturer's website at www.elefantcorp.cz.
Definitely recommended!
