First Look

Eduard from the Czech Republic is easily the most prolific producer of aftermarket details. Period. Their series of photo-etched detail sets have brought additional fidelity to otherwise bland subjects, and have taken even the best-produced models and kicked them up a notch or two with details that cannot be produced with injection-molded plastic.

Spitfire Mk.VIII Seatbelts Set

Here is Eduard's pilot restraint set for the Eduard 1/48 Spitfire Mk.VIII kit. This set is color-printed and pre-cut fabric which replicates the Sutton harness on the Spitfire and needs only to be positioned and fixed in the cockpit. There is no painting, no threading of buckles nor folding of photo-etch to get this job done. This is an easy update!

If you want to add some eye-catching realism in your Eduard Spitfire Mk.VIII cockpit without the work, this set is just what you're looking for!

My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
