Cobra Company has really been busy lately! They've turned out no less than four detail sets for Trumpeter's impressive 1/35 CH-47 Chinook kits. This set updates the Trumpeter CH-47A kit from its early-production configuration into the standard steerable rear landing gear struts used on most CH-47As as well as subsequent versions.
This detail set is a drop-in replacement for the kit's early configuration landing gear struts plus replaces the wheels on the front struts as well.
With this set alone, your Trumpeter 1/35 CH-47A kit can be patterned after most any of the A-models that were in service.
This set is definitely recommended for the 'Hook' modeler and is available directly from Cobra Company (www.cobracompany.com).
My sincere thanks to Cobra Company (www.cobracompany.com) for this review sample!
