First Look
I met up with the new owner of CAM resin details at the 2006 IPMS/USA National Convention and not only is he reissuing the existing CAM detail line, he's already releasing new subjects as well.
This set is a rather simple upgrade for your favorite 1/24 scale P-51 Mustang. These are seamless paper drop tanks that were doped silver and could easily be carried by one person (before fueling that is).
This set consists of a pair of tanks with the forward ends of the tanks molded separately. Glue the ends of the tanks onto the main tank parts, paint them dull silver, and simply hang them on the external pylons of your aircraft and you're ready to head to Berlin.
These will complement the Airfix, MPC, or Trumpeter P-51D kits.
