First Look

Antarki Model Kits of Peru has developed their first detail set, this one is a three-piece set that builds up into the Matra JL-100 rocket pod. This unique pod was created by SNEB (France) to provide external fuel (250 liters) and still offer a weapons capability on the same external station. In addition to the 250 liters of fuel, the forward portion of each pod carries 19 x 68mm rockets.

CF6

This set is cast in gray resin and each set contains two pods. You'll find the JL-100 used on a number of aircraft including the Lighting F.53 (carried on the overwing pylons), Buccaneer, Mirage III, Mirage 5, Dagger, and Nesher.

If you're looking for an interesting loadout for your next project, see if your aircraft and air force were equipped with the JL-100 and hang a pair.

You can find more information on this and other offerings from Antarki Model Kits on their Facebook page.

My sincere thanks to Antarki Models for this review sample!
