AMS Resin is back with another nice detail set, this time for the 1/48 scale Hobbyboss F-105D Thunderchief. If you're familiar with AMS Resin products, you know that they don't produce a 'one size fits all' solution to your detailing problems. This set is specifically tailored for Hobbyboss' new kit and the set is up to AMS Resin's high detail standards.
Actually, I am a bit surprised that there isn't a version of this set tailored to the Revell-Monogram F-105D kit, and perhaps one is in the works. The set comes with a replacement tub and sidewalls, instrument panel and coming, control stick, and ejection seat. As with any of AMS Resin's products, this set is a drop-in fit (unless you want the air refueling probe extended, then you'll need a little tailoring to accommodate.
Recommended for experienced modelers!
