First Look
Warbird Decals produced a really nice set of decals covering four different B-36 Peacemaker variants set up for the beautiful Monogram 1/72 kit. The subjects in this release include:
- B-36A, 44-92015, 7 BG(H), 8 AF, Carswell AFB, 1948
- RB-36E, 44-92020, 72 BS/15 AF, Travis AFB
- B-36B, 44-92028, 7 BG(H), 8 AF, Carswell AFB, 1949
- B-36D, 44-92065, 326 BS(H), 42 BW, Loring AFB
The instructions show the different color patterns for the bare metal shades as well as the lacquer-painted sections. Even in 1/72 scale, these is a large set of decals!
