First Look
RAM Models is a model company out of Britain that is expanding into the decal market. This latest release provides an interesting set of marking alternatives for the Revell 1/144 Concorde kit. This set (part one) provides markings for an airline that should have operated Concorde - Pan American World Airways (Pan Am). Pan Am had three Concordes on order for nearly 10 years before they finally cancelled and moved on.
The subjects included in this set:
- Concorde N500PA, Clipper Concorde, advertising scheme
- Concorde N500PA, Clipper Concorde, billboard scheme
In addition, this set provides N-numbering for N773PA, N774PA, N775PA, and N776PA and you can mix and match numbers to create your own N-numbers if you wish. The set includes the names Clipper Pocket Rocket, Clipper The Great White, Clipper Comet, and Clipper Speed Queen in addition to the Clipper Concorde.
If you're looking for some unique subjects for your Revell Concorde project, these what-if schemes will provide some eye-catching options. These should also work nicely on the Orion spacecraft from 2001: A Space Odessey. These decals are available directly from their website.
