First Look
LPS Hobby from Brazil has returned with some new decals targeted for the 1/72nd scale modeler. In this release, they've produced markings for three 56 FG P-47D Razorback Thunderbolts designed for the Tamiya kit. The subjects include:
- P-47D-5-RE, 42-8458 61 FS/56 FG, HV-F, Halesworth, England, 1943
- P-47D-11-RE, 42-75510, 61 FS/56 FG, HV-A, Halesworth, England, 1943
- P-47D-22-RE, 42-26044, 61 FS/56 FG, HV-Z, Boxted, England, 1944
The decals are printed by Microscale and feature single-layer markings, and a nice set of airframe maintenance stencils. If you are looking for markings for one of Gabreski's early P-47's, this is the set you're looking for.
