First Look
Leading Edge has released an interesting new decal set for the T-33 Shooting Star in Canadian Armed Forces service. This set was previously released in other scales and has now been released in 1/32 scale for the Czech Model kit.
This decal set is a beautifully comprehensive package that provides two sheets of decals to replicate the standard high-visibility red and bare metal colors of these CAF T-Birds and provides marking options for any of three aircraft.
The aircraft in question are:
- T-33A, 133625, 141 Sqn, CAF
- T-33A, 133504, CAF, Cold Lake
- T-33A, 133190, AETE, CAF, Cold Lake
The instructions provide in-depth diagrams for painting, and decal placement. This set also includes a set of vinyl masks to help replicate as much of this aircraft in paint as practical.
This is a very nice addition to the Leading Edge's array of subjects and will provide some colorful options for the 1/32 scale Czech Model kit.
