First Look
FlightDecs of Canada has crossed the line. Up until recently, they limited themselves to providing the widest selection of unique aircraft decals from around the world and backing up that selection with great service. Now they're producing a line of decals under their own banner - FlightDecs Decals.
In this first set, there are seven examples of US (and Canadair) aircraft in the Air Force of the former Yugoslavia. While most remember Yugoslavia as a former communist state, there was a period of time after World War II where the Yugoslavian government was still on good terms with the west and was the recipient of US aircraft, including the F-86 Sabre/Sabre Dog, F-84 Thunderjet, and T-33 Shooting Star. This set gives you the markings to replicate any of these seven examples:
- T-33A, 10016, mid 1950s
- T-33A, 10055, late 1970s
- F-84G, 10540, mid 1950s
- F-84G, 10550, late 1960s
- F-86E, 11054, mid 1960s
- F-86D, 14094, mid 1960s (three different marking options)
- F-86D, 14105, early 1970s (three different marking options)
The instructions include four-views of each aircraft with nice color references and corresponding FS595 colors.
My sincere thanks to FlightDecs for this review sample!
