FCM Decals has an interesting line of aftermarket decals from Brazil. The subjects covered in this line include many Brazilian civil and military aircraft subjects, WWI aircraft, and the occasional look at the aircraft of other nations as well.

F-14A F-14A

In this set, we have an interesting set of US Navy Reserve Tomcats in late service low-visibility camouflage. The four examples included in this set are:

  • F-14A-70-GR, 158990, ND/101, VF-301, NAS Miramar, Dec 1986
  • F-14A-70-GR, 158987, ND/104, VF-301, NAS Miramar, Jul 1987
  • F-14A-70-GR, 158992, ND/106, VF-301, NAS Miramar, Feb 1986
  • F-14A-70-GR, 159005, ND/112, VF-301, NAS Miramar, Dec 1986

The instructions show how these decals can accommodate the Italeri kit with the early gun gas vent door and provide decals to properly replicate the look of the early vented gun door.

Thanks to FCM Decals for this review sample.
