First Look
MILSPEC is a new decal series from Custom Aeronautical Miniatures (CAM) that specialize in extensive airframe data stencils. This set provides all of the standard stencils and markings for the McDonnell Douglas F-4B/J/N/S Phantom II in 1/48 scale. All of those markings you see on the sheet are used on one model.
This stencil set is accompanied by a well-illustrated stencil placement guide providing all four views of the aircraft. Because of the extensive number of decals used in this set, I marked the skill level at experienced since this will take time and patience, but together with a nice set of decals for a specific squadron and airframe, this set will provide that extra eye-catching detail when viewed up-close.
