AK Interactive is well-known for their growing array of weathering and finishing products for scale modelers. They've also expanded into paints as well, but did you know that they also produce decals? Here is a nice set that takes your favorite Panzer II, III, or IV and provides alternative markings for these tanks in East European service during World War II.
This set provides 11 markings options including:
- Panzer IV Ausf.F, 912/1H843, 30th Tank Regt, Hungarian Army, 1942
- Panzer III Ausf.M, -/1H874, Hungarian Army, 1944
- Panzer III Ausf.N, V-3058/3059/3060/3061/3062, Slovakian Army, 1944
- Panzer IV Ausf.J, -, Romanian Army, 1945
- Panzer IV Ausf.J, Ps221-6, Finland, 1944
- Panzer III Ausf.N (T-3), U039483, Romanian Army, 1942/43
- Panzer III Ausf.N (T-3), U039493, Romanian Army, 1942/43
- Panzer IV Ausf.G (T-4), U039253, Romanian Army, 1942/43
- Panzer IV Ausf.H (T-4), 411, Romanian Army, 1944
- Panzer IV Ausf.H (T-4), 421, Romanian Army, 1944
- Panzer II Ausf.C, V-3091, Slovakian Army
As you can see in the images above, these tanks wore typical German Army colors and those that operated close to the German Army also wore similar tactical numbers. Those that operated independently in the field or at home carried different markings which will make your favorite Panzer look different on the contest table.
