First Look
3D-Kits.co.uk produces an interesting series of decals and conversions for 1/72 and 1/48 scale aircraft. This set provides markings for three Rotol-propeller-equipped Spitfire Mk.I/II, also released in 1/72 scale.
This set provides markings for three examples:
- Spitfire Mk.I, 54 Sqn, KL-T, March 1940
- Spitfire Mk.II, 19 Sqn, QV-J, June 1941
- Spitfire Mk.II, 71 (Eagle) Sqn, XR-D, Aug 1941 (two options)
The decals are nicely printed by Fantasy Printshop with the only down side being that the roundels are printed as two-layer decals with you getting the opportunity to center the red do
